Galesburg - Galesburg – Roger L. Grigg, 65, of Galesburg formerly of Toulon passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 4:10 p.m. at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. He was born June 22, 1955, in Kewanee to parents, Donald and Marilyn (LaMay) Grigg.
He is survived by his three brothers, Dennis (Pat) Grigg of Williamsfield, Sam Grigg of Toulon, and Stan (Kathy) Grigg of Toulon; six sisters, Linda (Chester) Davis of Litchfield, KY, Kathy (Dale) Faull of LaMoille, IL, Rose (Mark) McCallister of Chillicothe, Marsha Grigg of Toulon, Donna (Mike Rowland) Lepianka of Kewanee, and Jenny (Donald) Pegram of Kewanee; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and dear friends he considered as family. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ronald and David.
Roger worked at Maytag and the former Admiral for thirty years. He enjoyed antiques, mowing, and mentoring Kobey Hull. Roger was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2021, at Haskell Funeral & Cremation Services in Wyoming. A graveside service will be immediately following the visitation at Wyoming Cemetery. Rev. Lee Taylor will officiate.
