Professional Baseball Player. He was an outfielder with the Cincinnati Reds during the 1934 and 1935 seasons. Prior to his baseball career, the Associated Press named him an All-American after he earned eight letters in football, basketball and baseball with the University of Michigan. While there, he was an intrugal part of the 1932 National Championship football team. He entered coaching for a number of years before entering the business field.
