Of Cass City, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born May 16, 1955 in Oxnard, CA to Clinton Robert and Irene Gertrude (Clemmer) Parks. He married Mary Josepha Bruder on August 15, 2006 in Medford, OR.

David attended South Lake Tahoe High School in CA. After school, he immediately enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until he was honorably discharged in 1980. Following his military retirement, David worked for many years as an electrician. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, stopping along the way to collect antique bottles and cans. In his younger years, David mined for gold while living in California and later he searched for geodes and other rocks to collect. He was a faithful fan of Jeopardy, he even recorded episodes to watch at another time. David's kind and giving heart extended to animals, especially his dogs. He loved his family and was very proud of them.

David is survived by his wife, Mary; stepson, Fred Golda of Bay City; stepdaughter, Sarah (John) Golda-Mikonczyk of Dearborn; granddaughter, Chloe Golda; his mother, Irene Bronson of Oregon; brother, Charles (Joan) Parks of Idaho; sisters: Nancy Ransford of Washington, Susan (Ron) Green of California, Connie (David) Richardson of Oregon, Carol Collier of California; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; three brothers: William Parks, Richard Parks, Ronald Parks.
