CARENCRO - Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Phyllis Gail Lewis, age 61, who passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at her residence in Carencro.

Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Pastor Chad Thibodeaux of Vatican Baptist Church will officiate at the services.

Musical selections will be I'll Fly Away, Amazing Grace, and Go Rest High On That Mountain.

Ms. Lewis was a native and lifelong resident of Carencro. She was a faithful member of Vatican Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Shane Lewis and his wife, Ashley; three daughters, Robin Landry, Jamie Landry and Peggy Landry; ten grandchildren, Lane Credeur, Sabastian Lewis, Nevaeh Crampe, Breanna Harris, Layla A. Romero, Gage Faul, Kylie Faul, Mason Gutierrez, Cameron Pitre and Kyree Landry; her mother, Allan Ellen Shoemaker Lewis; two brothers, Michael Lewis and Terry Lewis and his wife, Bonnie; and one sister, Vicky Domec and her husband, Curley, all of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Ray Lewis.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and will continue from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
