Audrey E. Simmons, 82, a lifelong Red Hook area resident, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Born on March 1, 1939, in Rhinebeck, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Catherine (Lattin) Simmons, Sr. .
For many years, Audrey worked as an inspector in quality control with Western Printing based in Poughkeepsie, NY. She also worked at Kem Cards in Poughkeepsie and at Le Grand Real Estate in Rhinebeck, NY.
Audrey was a lifelong devoted member of the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck and volunteered her time to their food pantry and a variety of church projects.
Her loving and devoted sister Kay Simmons of Red Hook survives her. Kay and Audrey were inseparable throughout their lives and where you found one, you would naturally find the other. In addition to Kay, Audrey is survived by a dear friend, Brenda Brockett of Rhinebeck, NY; her sisters in law; Linda Simmons of Clermont, Geraldine Simmons of Red Hook, and Laura Simmons of Rhinebeck; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews; and great grand nieces and nephews; along with extended family colleagues and friends.
Audrey was predeceased by her siblings- Isabelle Raffele, David Simmons, Arnold Simmons, Walter Simmons, Robert C. Simmons, Jr, Roger Simmons, and Ralph Simmons; a nephew, Arnold Simmons, II, and a nephew in law, James Fluegel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 at Reformed Church Of Rhinebeck in Rhinebeck, NY. Pastor Luis R. Perez will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot at Rhinebeck Cemetery, Rhinebeck.
