Mr. Arthur W. Cameron, a resident of Plymouth and beloved husband of Allison M. T. (Mazzarella) Cameron, passed away at his home on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was 78 years old.

Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on August 30, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late Arthur D. and Bertha (Aunchman) Cameron. Mr. Cameron was a US Army veteran, entering the military at Boston on October 24, 1967 and received his honorable discharge from St. Louis on March 21, 1969. Arthur was an Expert Marksman and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. In civilian life, he was a Post Office Manager, for many years.

In his spare time, Arthur enjoyed woodworking and caring for his family, especially his granddaughter, Willow. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his beloved wife, Allison and granddaughter, Willow, he is survived by his loving children; David and his wife Waldey Cameron of Woburn, Arthur C. and his wife Courtney Cameron of California, Barbara and her husband Jack McSweeney of Taunton and Catherine A. Cameron and her partner James Murnaghan of Plymouth, grandchildren; Kaleigh, Skylar, Harper and FinnLeigh Cameron and Andrew Brooks Matthew Cameron Giovanna Cameron and Charlotte McSweeney and expecting Maeve in July. Arthur was the father-in-law of Theresa Cameron of Medford, son-in-law of Eileen Mazzarella of Plymouth and former husband of Cindy Sheehey. He was also the loving father of the late James Cameron, brother of the late Daniel Cameron and son-in-law of the late William Mazzarella.

His Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Street, Plymouth on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
