Born Lillian Hill in New York, she used the name of Leonora Summers while working for Sennett in a number of his early film projects. Her credits include, "Ben-Hur: A Tale Of The Christ" (1925), "The Sea Beast" (1926), "Hoboken To Hollywood" (1926), and "Flirty Four-Flushers" (1925). She was married for many years to boxer Mushy Callahan, who at one time was the World Junior Welterweight Champion and a well-known boxing referee. He survived Summers by ten years and they are buried together.
