Melissa Lynn Strickland, age 55, of Loris, SC died Saturday, May 22, 2021 in McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC. Born in Horry County, SC she was the daughter of the late Tracy Phillips and Mary Alice Cartrette Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Lundy Strickland of Loris, SC., Three sons, Blayne Steele Manning and wife Kamie of Loris, SC., Shayne Neil Manning and wife Tiffany of Loris, SC., Daniel Manning "D" and wife Courtney of Loris, SC. Two brothers, Rodney Ken Phillips of Myrtle Beach, SC., Tracy "Bo" Phillips of Tabor City, NC., One sister, Sherri Phillips Caines of St. Augustine, FL. Six grandchildren, Kyleigh Allison Reaves "K Bug", Payne Manning "Diddly Diddly Gram", Estee Belle Manning "Dimples", Dani Layne Manning, Caden Cole Manning "Little Country",Belladonna Faith Tyler: one step daughter, Shannon Nicole Strickland of Loris, SC, one step son Zackery Ryan Strickland of Loris, SC.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 26th 2021 at 7:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
