Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 21, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday at First Baptist Church in Buna.
Born September 3, 1931 in Emerson, AR to Carl and Donnie Burdine he worked as a boilermaker and lived in Buna the past 57 years.
He is survived by his wife, Alpha Burdine of Buna; children, Gail Stanley and Rex of Buna, Brenda Dozier and Mark of San Marcus, Glenn Burdine of Buna; sister, Glovenia "Glo" McRae of Houston; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by, parents, Carl and Donnie Burdine; brothers, Spurgeon Burdine, Raymond Burdine; son, David Burdine; granddaughter, Neely Dozier.
