SPRINGFIELD - Thomas E. Brown, 83, of Springfield died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Harden [sic] County, Ky., the son of Claude and Mamie Carmen Brown.

He married Betty Stewart in 1942 in Shelbyville, Mo.; she died in 2004.

A son, Ronald, and a daughter, Patty Davidson, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Brown was a distributor of Kitchen Made Pies and Little Debbie Snacks for many years.

Survivors: daughter, Judy Gonshorowski of Springfield; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Jim Brown of Girard.

Cremation was accorded by Springfield Crematory.

Memorial services: 4 p.m. Sunday, Ellinger-Kunz Funeral Home, Denny Hamilton officiating.
