Joann Johnston, 85, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. Joann was born on December 9, 1935, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ottis and Dora Lucille (Linker) Moody. She graduated from Allen High School in 1953. On June 27, 1953, she married Arthur Lee Johnston in Ada, Oklahoma. They were happily married fifty-seven years. She worked for Hughes Corporation for several years. Joann worked for Atlas Pen Company in Hollywood, California for several years. Joann later worked as a beauty operator in Tupelo, Oklahoma from 1973-1974. When Joann and Arthur returned to Oklahoma, they owned and operated A & J Oilfield Construction in WIlburton from 1980-1995.
Survivors include: her sons, Keith Johnston of Pocola, OK, Kerry Johnston and wife Kelli of Wilburton, OK and Darryl Johnston and wife Kelley of Wilburton, OK; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Arthur.

Survivors include: her sons, Keith Johnston of Pocola, OK, Kerry Johnston and wife Kelli of Wilburton, OK and Darryl Johnston and wife Kelley of Wilburton, OK; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
