Pastor Janice Watkins, Apostle Johnny Watkins, Minister Cameron Knox, Bishop Frank Sutherland Jr., and Minister Chauncey Clemons officiated with burial in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant, born in Tarrytown, was the son of the late Mr. Joe Daniel Bryant Sr. and Mrs. Katie Jestine Swanson Bryant. He graduated from Wheeler County High School. He enlisted in the United States Army, the Louisiana National Guard and then finished his military career with the Georgia National Guard. He also was employed with CCA Alamo until his health started to decline. He was a member of The Word International Worship Center where he served as a Deacon. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Renea Bryant Harvey.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Terra Brewer Bryant of Hazlehurst; seven children, Yolanda Bryant of Dublin, LaChanda (Chancey) Clemons of Duluth; Lacey (Brandon) Avant of Ellenwood, Justin Bryant of Alexandria, LA, Terrance Denning of Hazlehurst, Joya (Michael) Joseph of Baton Rouge, LA, Jarrod Sims of Hazlehurst; 14 grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Ernestine (Plaze) Webb of Miami, Fla., Joe Daniel Jr. (JoAnne) Bryant of Glenwood, Jessie (Vicky) Bryant of Glenwood, Delilah (Bill) McCall of Philadelphia, PA, Johnny (Diane) Bryant of Columbus, Darren (Frank) Southerland of Orlando, Fla., Drucilla (Herman) Dallis of Mount Vernon, Chandelier Rivera of Glenwood, Eric (Shontia) Bryant of Henderson, Tenn., Robert (Tonya) Bryant of Hazlehurst; one sister-in-law, Tine (James) Cornish of Hazlehurst and a host of relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Jeffery Bryant, Eric Bryant, Raymond Mills, Johnny Bryant Jr., Jessie Bryant Jr., DeShun Stanley, Tyrone Bryant, and Jarvis Bryant.
