Born in Fall River; Andrew was a graduate of Dighton Rehoboth High School. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Army, and was stationed in Germany. Upon his return home, he became an Army Reservist. Mr. Miller worked for many years as a truck driver for K.R. Rezendes Inc. for over fifty-years, and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Andrew was an auxiliary police officer for the town of Freetown, and was a member of the United Church of Assonet.
Andrew loved antique cars, going to car shows and watching racing. He was a big New England sports fan. Mr. Miller was also a civil war re-enactor.
Andrew leaves behind his children; Stacey Taylor of Acworth, Georgia, Brian Miller and his wife Pamela of Pocasset, Anne O'Driscoll and her husband Frederick of East Wareham, and Ashley Miller and her fiancé Tom; of Chelsea, step-sons; Brendan Ellis and his wife Lauren of Millis, and Sean Ellis and his wife Dawn of Falmouth, grandchildren; Justin, Rory, DJ, Brian, Holly, Alicia, Louie, Kayla and Nicole, and great-grandchildren; Davis, Reese, Jax, Ava and Aubriel. as well as many cousins and special friends.
Calling Hours for Mr. Miller will be held on Friday May 7, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River.
Burial with Military Honors will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 11am in the Assonet Burial Ground, Assonet, Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Facial Coverings and Social Distancing are required at the cemetery at all times.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
