She was a member of the Church of Annunciation, Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gary McIntyre and a sister, Mary Eckert.
She leaves to cherish in her memory, her husband of 58 years, James R. Mitchell; her children, Cynthia Mitchell, Shelbyville, KY, Gregory Mitchell (Shelli),Georgetown, IN, Jackie Weining (Scott),Louisville, KY, and Laurie Wade, Shelbyville, KY; 12 grandchildren,13 great grandchildren; her sisters, Martha Long (Ken), Annie Bennett (Marty); her brothers, Joe McIntyre (Anna), Charlie McIntyre (Judy), John McIntyre, Steve McIntyre (Sharon) all of Louisville, KY and her dear friend Ann Nevitt.
A Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Church of the Annunciation with Father David Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.
