Miriam R Lawrence (Diebold) age 64, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday May 20th, 2021.

Ms. Lawrence was born August 12th 1956 to Miriam R Diebold and Robert R Diebold of Fairview Park. She married John Lawrence in 1977 and her second husband Ralph Brown.

She is survived by her 7 kids Tanya, Michael, Johnnie, Andrew, Darryl, Gary, and Anne-Marie. 16 grandchildren Abrianna, De'jon, Amariana, Mekhi, Michael Jr., Braylen, Jayonna, Jaymone II, Jayquan, Tyrone Jr., Kevin, Andrew Jr., Anaiyah, Kobe, Vayda, and Aubrey. 6 great grandchildren Kenadrew Jr., Desmond Jr., Jaymire, Amarion, Lena, and January. Ms. Lawrence was also a mother and grandmother to many more that she adopted and took into her home. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband's John and Ralph.

Ms. Lawrence was among the first female iron workers in Union Local 17. She was involved with building many significant landmarks in Cleveland such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive Field formerly known as Jacobs Field, the new Browns Stadium, and the Great Lakes Science Center. She owned Grouches Bar on 28th st for many years. Her hobbies included Christmas shopping year round, collecting coins, stamps, recipes, and clocks.

Her services will be held at Busch's Funeral Home 14 2nd St, Elyria, OH 44035 on Wednesday 26th, 2021 at 1pm and her viewing will be held from 10am-1pm.
