Mr. Orson David Beach, a life long resident of Logan and well known citizen died yesterday afternoon at a local hospital, following an operation. Mr. Beach was the son of O. D. and Sarah Palmer Beach and was born Dec. 29, 1858. The family moved to Logan when he was a year old. Mr. Beach is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Mary Diana Willie of Holbrook, Idaho; Charles Francis Beach, Mrs. Sarah Alice Rawlins of Lewiston, LeRoy A. Beach of California and Miss Alta Beach of Logan. He has two sisters: Mrs. E.M. Lindsay of Nampa, Idaho, and Mrs. D.P. Wells of Nampa, Idaho, also a half brother Richard Mainwaring of Salt Lake. Funeral arrangements await word from the family.

ORSON D. BEACH BURIED
LOGAN, April 10 – Funeral services for Orson D. Beach, lifelong resident of Logan, who died a few days ago at his residence in the First ward, were held yesterday afternoon in the First ward chapel. E. N. Hammond, the bishop's counselor, presided at the services and N. W. Kimball and Moses Thatcher were the speakers. George Anderson dedicated the grave in Logan City cemetery.
