Michael Anthony Agens, resident of Clinton Township, died peacefully January 15, 2011 surrounded by the love of his family. He was 53 years of age.

Michael was born in Detroit on September 30, 1957, son of Margaret and the late James Agens. He was united in marriage to his beloved Mary on February 27, 1987 in Clinton Township. Michael worked as a die maker for many years and worked for Macomb County in the janitorial department for the last 8 years. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed collecting model cars. His great escape was going up north, being outdoors and being out on the water fishing. Michael loved history and would often be caught watching the History channel for hours. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. He looked forward to spending as much time as he could with them. Michael always had a helping hand to give; he will be deeply missed.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife Mary; dearest children, Lisa, Sonny, Melissa and Anthony (Stephanie) Guadagni and Michael, Matthew and Mitchell Agens; cherished grandchildren, Angelo, Niko, Giovanni, Corey, Collin, Kaitlyn, Louie, Anthony Jr., Julian and Makenzie; loving mother, Margaret; and dear siblings Jim (Gena) and Mark Agens, Renee (Mike) Pasienza and Kathy (Jim) Scalf.

Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, Saturday from 5pm till 9pm, Sunday from 1pm till 9pm and Monday 10am till time of funeral services at 11am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery
