He is preceded in death by his father, William Hughes; grandparents, Jack and Winnie Elliott, and Jack and June Barnes; uncle and aunt, Bob (Kim) Owens. He is survived by his mother, Scarlett Hughes; children, Shane Hughes II and Jaxon Hughes; sister, Natalie (Jeff) Smith; second father, Melvin Roush; brother, Will Hughes; niece, Bailee Smith; nephew, Brayden Smith; uncle, Wayne (Willa) Owens; special family in West Virginia; aunts, uncles, cousins; other extended family and friends.
