Hazel Marceil Hill, 82 of Star City, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born September 12, 1938 in Lincoln County to the late Emery Ray and Hazel Inez Green Yarbrough.
She attended First United Methodist Church in Star City; was a retired office manager for Garland Family Health Care and helped run the family business, Hill Pest Control and Landscaping. She was a hard worker, loved her family and enjoyed traveling the world. She was a giver and enjoyed helping others and donating her time.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Hill; 2 brothers, James Yarbrough and Billy Yarbrough; and a sister, Nancy Yarbrough.
Survivors include a daughter, Melinda (Sean) Donahue of Cedar Park, TX; 3 brothers, Elton (Mary) Yarbrough of Dallas, TX, Gene (Lynn) Yarbrough of Star City, and Robbie (Judy) Yarbrough of Mansfield, LA; sister, Faye Lampirez of Star City; and 1 grandchild, Kella Donahue.
A visitation will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Graveside services are 10:00AM Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas,TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 300 Washington Street, Star City, AR 71667 or church of your choice.
