He was born in Guilford County on June 10, 1959 to John Harold Lowman and Myrtle Ruth Page Lowman.
He was a painter and attended Brush Creek Baptist Church. Jimmy enjoyed the beach and drag racing. He loved cooking for his family and spending time with them.
He is survived by his sister, Judy Clark (Doug), of Bear Creek; brothers, Barney Lowman, of the home and Steve Lowman (Pat), of Siler City; 3 nephews, 1 niece, 3 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces and a host of family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Brush Creek Baptist Church cemetery, with Rev. Frank Taylor presiding. Friends may sign the register at Joyce-Brady Chapel from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm on Friday, May 21, 2021.
