"Gifted with the most brilliant qualities of mind & the noblest sentiment of heart. He passed from earth to the home of the ___ & glorified in heaven. Beauty, purity & truth enthroned in his affections, wrought a loveliness of character that won all hearts. The morning star of his youth faded from our view, to shine with increasing lustre in a brighter holier sphere. Oh, may the friends that mourn thee now strive for the victory thou has won to heaven's decree submissive bow and say Oh God, Thy wil be done."
