Andrew Clark, 40, passed away on May 17, 2021, in West Des Moines.
He was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Michael and Candace Clark on December 31, 1980.
Andrew worked as an audio, video and acoustic designer for Electronic Sound Company.
Andrew was the kindest person with the best sense of humor. Family was everything to him.
Even when he was sick, he spent as much time as he could with family, especially his children. He was the best dad and always put his children before himself.
He enjoyed being outdoors and found peace in nature. He loved fishing, especially with his children.
He loved photography and was always up for an outing to capture something interesting.
He had a comfort of skill at arms being highly trained and highly proficient in firearm use.
He was a great, lifelong artist and often drew with his daughter. He was a fabulous cook and enjoyed making up recipes and cooking for family. He also loved spending time playing video games with his children, nieces and nephews.
He recently started woodworking as a hobby and enjoyed building fabulous pieces of furniture. His will was strong to push through any obstacles he was presented.
Andrew always tried his absolute best at everything and nothing less. He was Mr. Awesome.
Andrew is survived by his children, Tyler and Sophia; parents, Candace Clark and Mike and Karen Clark; siblings, Dianna (Tom) Nash, Brian (Shari) Clark; Kemmie (Joanne); nieces and nephews, Tiffany Canady, Nicholas Norrell, Grace Clark, Sydney Brenning, Hunter Brenning, Jessie and Rachael Nash; many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave., in Des Moines.
