Rosanne Boyd passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 18, 2021. She was 91 years old.
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Rosanne and William retired to Fort Myers, FL in 1986. They were married for over 50 years before his passing in 2016.
Rosanne was extremely talented in many different tiers of art. She was a masterful painter; a skilled seamstress; and an accomplished performance pianist. This was passed down by her mother, who played piano for their church, which also led Rosanne to her devout faith in Christianity and her love for Jesus. She truly cared for others and showed it in many ways. One of which was crocheting hundreds of afghans to donate to the Salvation Army to help families in need.
Among her recreational talents Rosanne was also a successful business owner, running her beauty salon in Ohio until her retirement.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children, Roland Boyd (Cathy) of Fort Myers, FL and Bonnie McQuown (Dave) of Mansfield, OH; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a special cousin Linda. Her loving husband William and her brother Jim preceded her in passing.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
