Mr. Walker, 60, of Hallsville, Texas was born on September 6, 1960 to his parents, James Gorman Walker and Bobbie Jean Jones. Mr. Walker passed away on May 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifetime resident of the Hallsville area. Mr. Walker enjoyed trucking, traveling across country, and driving around visiting his friends and family. He was a sportsman who had a passion for hunting and fishing. He kept a special place in his heart for his dogs, especially Lola, she was his girl. Mr. Walker wanted to stay dressed right and looking good, he always had to have his comb, cologne, and mirror. He also took pride in how his yard looked and how it was cut. His greatest joys were his children, grandchildren, and the time spent together with family.
Mr. Walker is survived by his children, Tim Rhodes and spouse Stephanie, Brad Rhodes and spouse Desiree, Misty Rhodes and Spouse Jay; brother, Joe Walker and spouse Margie; sister, Nancy Hawkins and spouse Mike; grandchildren, Stormie Rhodes, McKinley Rhodes, Cydney Rhodes, Koby Rhodes, Madison Rhodes, Jason Rhodes, Weston Rogers, Baby Jason; great-granddaughter Lillian Kuitko; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Mr. Walker is preceded in death by his parents, James and Bobbie Walker; his loving wife, Julia Ann Rae Walker.
