Virginia Lee Foster, 77, of Springfield, went to her Heavenly Home on May 20, 2021 in the company of loved ones.

Virginia was born in Springfield, IL on December 26, 1943 the daughter of John and Mary Cundiff.

She was married to Wayne Foster who preceded her in death. Virginia was also preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Cody Teig.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Susan Foster and Debra Foster; grandchildren, Lacey, Brandon and a great grandchild, Nixon; sister, Shirley Kane and her nephew, Don Kane; special friend, Edna (husband, Rick) Tofari; her cat, Mischemoe; as well as many beloved friends and family.

Virginia attended Riverton Christian Church where she was a member for many years and was faithful in her prayer. Virginia also enjoyed Bingo and going out to eat with friends and family. She enjoyed her daughter, Debra's cooking. Virginia was the supervisor of maintenance and supply for the EPA in Springfield for 20 plus years and was a very hard worker.

She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Cremation services will be accorded. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
