Born December 13, 1950, in Lebanon, PA, he was the son of Lester T. and Mary (Burychka) Becker.
Bob attended Collegeville-Trappe High School and graduated from Millersville University in 1973. He taught History at Virginia Beach Bible School and later worked at North Penn Hospital in Lansdale. He dedicated himself to God and was passionate about studying the beauty of God's Word. Bob was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching talented players at the collegiate level and following them to the pro ranks. His favorite event every year was the annual Army-Navy Football Game.
He will be sadly missed by his sister, Teena (Becker) Hanlon, of Langhorne, PA; his nephews, Joshua (Tori) and Timothy (Katie); and their children. Affectionately known as "Uncle Bob," he shared much joy with the children in the family. He enjoyed celebrating all of their milestones and spending time with them. He was a friend to everyone he met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, May 24, 2021, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 3440 Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474, where friends may attend the viewing from 10-10:45 AM. Burial will follow at Trinity U.C.C. Church Cemetery in Skippack.
