Mrs. Lillian Y. Berntheizel, eighty-six, 401 Walnut St., Columbia, died at 2:15 a.m. yesterday at the Pickel Nursing Home, Columbia, after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Cleon N. Berntheizel. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Woman's Club of Columbia and the Columbia Hospital Auxiliary. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Sara Hook Young and was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society of the church. She is survived by two sons, Cleon N. Jr., at home, and George Y., Columbia; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother, George Young, New Holland, and two sisters, Miss Marguerite and Florence Young, both of Baltimore, Md.
