David Ray Farmer, 73, of Centerton, Ark., went to be with the Lord May 16, 2021. He was born in Pine Bluff, Ark. Feb. 3, 1948, to Francis Jean Farmer and Ray Lee Farmer.

David graduated from Pine Bluff [Ark.] High School then joined the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam. He married his wife, Diane, on April 18, 1970. He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal in 2009. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather "Tats". He was a man of few words with a quick, dry wit. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing, gardening, and taking his time.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Francis J., brother, Joe Stephen Farmer. He is survived by his father, Ray L., of Warren, Ark., wife of 51 years, Diane, of Centerton, Ark., children David, Jr. (Michelle) of Benton, KY., Rebecca Taylor (Landon) of Bentonville, Ark., aunt Ralphie Massey of Chattanooga, TN., and grandchildren Ashlynn, Ally, and Carson Taylor.

A graveside memorial service will be at 1 pm Sat., May 22, 2021, at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens, 5930 So. Wallis Rd., Rogers, Ark. 72758. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Berna Funeral Home, 2898 West Walnut, Rogers, Ark. Phone: 478-631-1353. Obit was found at their website, www.nelsonbernafuneralhomes.com.
