Mrs. Williams was born in Guilford County on January 15, 1965, to Paul Emmanuel Singleton and Rose Evelyn Moody Singleton. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her husband, Elbert Williams, of the home; sons, Gabriel Hurley and Michael Hurley, both of Troy; father, Paul Emmanuel Singleton of Star; mother, Rose Evelyn Moody Singleton of Thomasville; sister, Angeline Freeman of Star; and brother, Stephen Paul Singleton of Seagrove.
Evangeline's body will lie in repose from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, at Phillips Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Rex and Linda Knight officiating.
