John W. Ashcraft age 89 of Warren, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Monticello, Ar. He was born on Friday, February 12, 1932 in Herbine, Ar. son of the late Ben Thomas Ashcraft and the late Martha (Yarbrough) Ashcraft. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. For years he worked at Potlatch. John was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jo (Smith) Ashcraft. They were married on January 22, 1965. Siblings Ralph Ashcraft, Joe Ashcraft, Louie Ashcraft, Alfred Ashcraft, Betty Lou Braswell and Gertie Brian and Grandson Chase Hollis Ashcraft. Survivors include his children, Robbie Ashcraft of Warren, AR. and Tommy Ashcraft of Hampton, AR. grandson, Tommy Ashcraft Jr. and Brother Charles Ashcraft. His graveside service will be on Saturday May 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. in Adam-Singer Cemetery with Officiant, Wayman Mann.
