Barbara was part of a large family of six brother and sisters. The family lived in Tulsa and moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma where she graduated high school. She attended University of Oklahoma earning a business degree and was elected an officer in her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. OU is where she met Gordon and the two began their life-long love of OU football. They married in 1951 and moved yearly with Gordon's assignments in the Army. After his release from active duty, they returned to Oklahoma where Chris was born. They moved back and forth between Oklahoma and St Louis, finally settling in Chesterfield in 1968. Barbara was an avid Bridge player attaining the rank of Life of Master in duplicate bridge. She loved to cook and was famous for her green thumb in the yard and with her house plants. She was also active in her sorority alumni group in St. Louis. Barbara's true calling emerged when Michelle and Abby were born. She was a caring and loving grandmother. She loved to travel near and far with her family. Barbara's wise guidance and selfless support will be forever missed.
