Billy James Hall of Marietta, Georgia passed away on May 19, 2021. Bill was a long-time resident of the Milford community and was retired from the Lockheed-Georgia Company.
Bill was born on May 26, 1932 in Plains, Georgia and lived most of his life in Cobb County. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. His favorite activities included spending time with his family at the beach, riding his motorcycle, and exploring the mountains of North Georgia and Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Stephens Hall; his son, Dennis W. Hall; his granddaughter, Jaime Hall Creek; his mother, Janie Braswell Ragsdale; and his step-father, Lester Oren Ragsdale. He is survived by his son, Barry J. Hall, Sr.; and grandchildren, Barry J. Hall, Jr. (B.J.), Nicholas Bradley Hall, Anita Blair Hall, and Dennis James Hall; step-granddaughters, Brittany Mirani and Emily Hartsfield; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Tyler, Landon, Dylan, Ethan, Hunter, and Alanah; and step-great grandchildren, Keegan, Oren, Kane, Vena, Lorelei and Elena.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 23rd from 5-8 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, May 24th at 2 PM at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Terry Braswell officiating.
