Neil H. "Mort" Cook, 90 of Sterling passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021. He was born in Sterling on November 21, 1930, son of the late Eugene M. and Gladys (Brown) Cook. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Marlene (Hawes) Cook, who survives him. Neil was a 1948 graduate of Plainfield High School
Neil served in the U.S. Air Force and served the town of Sterling as a Selectman.
