Donald Paul Lane Jr. was born 19 Jun 1952 in Lodi, San Joaquin County, California. He is the first child of Donald Paul Lane Sr. and Arlene Elizabeth Hickok.

Don attended northern California schools, graduating in 1970 from Rio Lindo Adventist Academy, Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. He moved to southern California, where he continued his education graduating with a college degree. For many years Don was employed as a Legal Aide for a legal firm in Los Angeles.
Don had become ill, and moved back to the northern California area to be with family. He passed away 19 May 2021.
