Lisa Sexton, age 59, of Paintsville passed away on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born April 29, 1962 in Paintsville to the late Bill and Faye Adkins Rice. Additionally preceding her in death is one grandchild A.J. Hill. In 1985 in Paintsville she married Arnold "Mike" Sexton who survives her death. Additional survivors include two sons: Cody (Paige) Sexton, Kevin (Crystal) Sexton; one daughter: Vicki (Noel) Pachnanda; one brother: Wayne Rice; ten grandchildren: Atlanta Sexton, Kenzlee Sexton, Kearstin Sexton, Chezza Sexton, Morgan Sexton, Dessie Coffey, Brooklynn Coffey, Elizabeth Pachnanda, Kristian Cagnasso; one great grandchild: Ava Grace Sexton; a daughter in law: Rainey Tackett; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. Lisa lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved making her famous chocolate pies that everyone loved. Lisa had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Visitation is scheduled on Friday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Saturday May 22, 2021 in the Preston Funeral Home chapel with Larry Blair officiating. Interment shall follow at the Sexton Family Cemetery in Paintsville.
