Sophie Elizabeth Miller passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in West Memphis, Arkansas at the age of 97. She was born May 2, 1924 in Earle, Arkansas to parents Willie and Jessie Gregory. She later in life met and married Carl Miller who together raised their own family and was blessed to have had each other for over 50 years before God called him home in 1993.
Sophia was a member of the Turrell First Baptist Church and managed the Menesha Hunting and Fishing Club for over 25 years. Most of all though, she was the greatest wife, mom and grandmother a family could ever ask for.
She is survived by her son Carl Edward Miller Jr. of Turrell, Arkansas and her daughter, Deborah Fraley (Jimmy) of Earle, Arkansas. She leaves her sister, Betty Rubino of Bethel, Connecticut. She will be deeply missed by her grandchild Scott Fraley, her two great grandchildren; Katy Restum and Jamie Fraley as well as one great-great grandchild Lawson Scott Fraley.
