In California, Dee Dee worked as an accountant. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and an Associates Degree in Psychology from Weber State. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many callings. She loved taking care of her yard and cooking. She will be greatly missed by her family. She conquered every challenge in her life in order to be successful. She was a caring mother and a loving friend. We will love her forever and always, until we meet again.
Dee Dee is survived by her daughters, Mindy (Tom) Byrd of Enoch, UT and Kendra Hicks (boyfriend Miguel Carabez-Cortez) of Colorado Springs, CO, along with 3 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Carole Stratton; brothers, Chris Stratton and Rick Stratton; sister, Jill Stratton; son, Troy Motta; uncle, Bruce Stratton.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 451 E. Midvalley Road in Enoch, UT. Burial will be in the Enoch City Cemetery under the care of Southern Utah Mortuary.
