MARY GRACE GARDUÑO RAMIREZ
The family matriarch, Mary Grace passed on May 7th. She was born in Colorado Springs on July 15th, 1929 to Marcelino and Lonicia Garduño. A founder of the original El Burrito Café on Fremont Street, which opened in 1969, she also owned the El Burrito in Boulder City, which was featured in the movie Cannonball Run II. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Lloyd, Joseph, Rebecca and Elvina. A proud mother, grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Mary was also preceded in death by children Elaine, Christine and Duane, and grandchildren Francisco Marrujo and Dominic Duran. Mary Grace is survived by her husband Frank, children Carmen (Hicham) Rajraji, Marcelino (Shelley) Duran, David (Becky) Duran and Becky Duran Alvarado, brothers Emilio and William Garduño, thirty grandchildren, sixty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Arrangements are with Davis Funeral home at 1401 S. Rainbow in Las Vegas. Services are Thursday, May 20th from 4:00-7:00 P.M., with burial to follow at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Boulder City at 10:40 A.M. on Friday, May 21st.
