George Henry Jennings, 88, formerly of Danville, passed away May 15, 2021 at Chatham Health Center, Chatham. Born January 11, 1933 in Pittsylvania County, he was the son George Jennings and Lillie Lipford Jennings. He was married to the late Annie Leftwich Jennings.
Survivors include five daughters, Sherry Walton, Leona Price (Jeff), Pamela Fitzgerald (Richard), Cathy Yates and Karon Brooks; two sons, Gary Jennings (Teresa) and Donald Jennings (Dawn); two sisters, Lorraine Martin and Millie Ann Brandon (Frank); a host of grandchildren and other relatives. He was also predeceased by two sons, Jerry Jennings and Michael Jennings; two sisters, Virginia Martin and Jean Harris; a brother, Sonnyboy Jennings.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
