Julie Marie Abbott

August 15, 1959 ~ February 8, 2013

Julie passed away at home on Friday, February 8, 2013, to be with her loving relatives. She had lived in the Wenatchee Valley most of her life, with the exception of a few years in Seattle and California. She graduated from Eastmont High School and later attended Spokane Falls Community College for an art major. She was a supervisor and a Computer Analyst at Central Washington Hospital for many years. She later worked for the civil engineering firm of Hammond, Collier, Wade and Livingston. Julie always had a loving and tender heart for people and animals. She grew up with her two best buddies, her quarter horse, Star, and her little doggie, Ruffles.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Donna and John Wilmoth of Wenatchee; two brothers, Michael (Terry) of East Wenatchee and Kelly (Gena) of Spokane; her special aunt, Sue Parker of Wenatchee; aunt, Ida Wheeler of Wenatchee; her uncle, Clifford Parker of Tonasket; and her special companion, Chris Hendrickson, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Abbott; a little brother, Patrick Abbott; and her grandparents, Edwin and Edith Parker of Dryden and Basil and Mabel Abbott of Dryden.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center, 1312 Maple Street, on Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 1 to 3 p.m. All who wish to attend are invited. Flowers may be delivered to the Senior Center, the day before (Friday, February 22, 2013) between 2 and 4 p.m. Julie would have wanted any memorial donations made to the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. We will all miss her sunny smile and love her always.
