Nancy A. Eskola, 80, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Froedtert So. St. Catherine's Medical Center.
She was born on August 4, 1939, to the late Osborn and Florence (Kempter) Torgersen in Milwaukee, WI. Nancy was raised by her foster parents Arthur and Anna Hanson. She was educated in Bayfield County.
Nancy married Bruce Eskola in 1960 in IL. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2007.
Nancy worked at Manu-Tronics and Charm-Glo for several years and waitressed throughout Kenosha on the weekends.
Nancy enjoyed fishing, rummage sales, antiquing, being on her computer, baking, canning, and going to McDonald's. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children Dennis Eskola, Vicky (Mark) Melander and Bradley Eskola, her grandchildren Jesse (Alisha) Tappa, Jacob Tappa, Ashley Rowsey, Lacey Rowsey, Allen Melander, Darien (Kody) Kleckner, Clifford (Christina) Eskola, Evan Eskola, Erik Eskola, and Michael Morehouse, many great-grandchildren and her siblings Barbara Hanson, Rick (Doreen) Torgersen and Pat Eckelberg.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Lori Tappa, her siblings LaVerne, Joyce, Shirley, Rita, Kathleen, and Clifford and a daughter-in-law Beverly Eskola.
A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held on Monday, July 20th at 5:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Masks are encouraged.
