Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Lawrence Charles White, 77, loving husband father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at Havasu Regional Medical Center on April 24, 2021.

He was born in Inglewood, California July 29, 1943. He moved to Santa Ana, California with his parents when he was a baby. His dad was a fisherman so Larry would go fishing with dad when not in school. He hated lobster, called them ocean spiders.

He graduated from Santa Ana High School and went to college for two years. Worked for Phil and Jim's as an appliance repairman until Phil and Jim's went out of business, after that he worked for several small appliance repair businesses until he retired at age 60. He totally enjoyed every minute of his 17 years of retirement.

He moved to Lake Havasu City in 2003, and said we now live in paradise. He enjoyed going to Laughlin once a month to play video poker and always came home with more money than he took with him.

Larry was known to his friends, as Lightning. Larry was a quiet man who cared about everyone he met, he was also a funny man, and would pop off with comments that would make you laugh when you were not expecting it, he will be deeply missed by all. He never got angry or upset about anything, always calm and accepting anything that might happen. He loved working with computers, breaking them just to put them back in working order again. He would give himself many challenges just for the pleasure of making them work again.

He was loved by his doctor and she was upset to find out he was deceased; he was one of those special patients to her.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Charles White and his mother Phyllis Jean White. He was survived by his wife Suzanne White and two daughters Nicole White Raymon, Terri White and one grandchild.

He was cremated at Lietz-Fraze crematory in Lake Havasu City. His wish was to not have a service performed.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
