Bessie Sanders Humphreys, age 104, of Marietta, Georgia passed away May 13, 2021. Bessie was born December 19, 1916. Bessie was a devoted wife to her husband Hubert for 53 years, a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was a great cook, enjoyed helping others, crochet, and loved flowers and children. Bessie was a member of the Eastern Star for 30 plus years in New Jersey. She also worked for Dittler Brothers Printing in Atlanta and Dupont for 15 years in New Jersey.

Cathy Broadwater and Karen Irvin took care of Bessie for six years until her death. Survivors include her son Ronald David Humphreys, many nieces and nephews. Bessie is preceded in death by her parents John and Maria Sanders, husband Hubert Humphreys and seven brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Bessie was held at Pine Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum, followed by an entombment.
