Jill L. Austin, age 73, of Middletown, DE passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Jill was born June 8, 1948 to the late Clarence and Dorothy Austin. She was a life long resident of the M.O.T. area.
She graduated from Middletown High School and retired from the State of Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles after 25 years of service.
Jill loved her family and creating special memories. She enjoyed family dinners, trips to Lancaster, and planting her flowers. She always looked forward to Lynn and Tom's crab party each summer. She a had a special love for her cat "Kee Kee". She had two special friends she enjoyed spending time with, Millie O'Neal and Louise Atwell.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Gene L. Austin and sister, Suzanne Leathern.
Jill is survived by her daughter Carol Kreiss (Bob) of Elkton, MD and her son Rob Gesullo (Micki) of Middletown, DE. Her grandchildren Justin Martine of Townsend, Chelsey Martine of Wilmington, and Haley Gesullo of Honeybrook, PA. Her sisters Carol Lee Hutchison (Fred) of Middletown, DE and Lynn Boone (Tom) of North East, MD. Her brothers Billy Austin (Barbara), Alan Austin (Patty) all of Townsend, DE and Richard Austin (Sally) of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
