Our beloved Ronnie Ramsey, age 70, passed away Friday, May 14th at his home. Ronnie was definitely one of a kind. If you knew him, you couldn't help but love him and he never met a stranger. Ronnie could tell you a story at the drop of a hat. If you ever heard one of his stories then chances are you already know that it would consist of water buffalo, the mountains and probably some wild Indians and an occasional turkey. He was one that could always make you laugh and shake your head at the same time. One thing that we all know for sure is how much he loved his kids and grandkids. They were his world and it showed.
Preceded in death by his mother and father, Margaret Houser Ramsey and Ambrose "Shorty" Ramsey; brother-in-law, Bill Tulloch.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Ramsey Bosch and son-in-law, Jason Bosch; grandsons, Jacob and Jackson Bosch; his son, Josh Ramsey and daughter-in-law, Tia Moore Ramsey; grandchildren, Kaley and Creed Ramsey; sisters, Tena Ramsey Tulloch, Jo Ramsey Evans and brother-in-law Joe Evans; niece and nephew, Jessica Wilson Catron and her husband Matt Catron, their daughter Laken Catron and Jayson Tallent; great nephews, Bryce Johnson and Maddox Johnson and many friends.
There will be no formal service, his wishes were for his family to take him to the mountains where his dad was born.
