She met the love of her life, Willie Dean Evans, at the end of the Korean War, while he was stationed in Germany. They were married and came to America where they began their family in San Antonio, Texas raising their three boys whom she dearly loved. They eventually moved and retired in Schertz, Texas, bought a motorhome, and enjoyed traveling the United States. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and making gifts for family and friends. She also took pleasure in making her German cookies and cakes during the holidays for all to enjoy. Josephine also enjoyed playing Pinochle with family and friends and was even playing at 93. She was the best Mother her sons could have asked for. Josephine will be missed by all.
