Mickey is survived by her daughter: Lori (Joe Jr.) Leahy of Darlington; five grandchildren: Shawn (Abby) Leahy, Brad (Brenda) Leahy, Tara (Josh) Ula, Edward (Amy) Thompson and Mitchell (Karlie) Thompson; 11 great- grandchildren, two brothers: Gaylord (Janet) Johnson of Burlington, WI and Jack (Peg) Johnson of Madison, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eugene on April 13, 2004; and one son: Lane (Theresa) Thompson on March 11, 2017. Two brothers; Ronald (Marabell) Johnson and LeRoy (Jeannette) Johnson and one sister: Joyce (James) DeMuth
Mickey was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington, its Women of the ELCA and proudly served on the church council for several years. She was always very fond of spending time in her garden taking care of her plants, flowers and yard. She enjoyed bird watching and had a soft spot in her heart for all animals especially her pet cats.
