Madelon I. Johnson, 76, Died August 7, 2006 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida. Born in Mikado, MI. She came to Brevard in 1978 from Ypsilanti, MI . Maddy served in the US Air Force, and was the first woman in Manchester, MI to own her own Service station. She is survived by nephews Mike (Debbie), Dale (Sue); neice Marilyn (John) Grudzien, sister-in-law Dorothy; great nephew Jim; great neices Jenna and Chelsea; long time companion Bonnie Nord; cousins and many friends around the country. A memorial and celebration of her life was held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the VFW 10131, in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
