Born on October 16, 1962, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Jack Beverly Coker Sr. and the late Betty Skipper Cooper. Mr. Coker was a hard worker, and in his spare time he enjoyed caning chairs and playing his guitar. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and left behind a legacy of having a solid work ethic, being a proud father to a son he loved dearly, and a loving grandfather to a granddaughter he adored.
Survivors include his son, Jack B. "Trey" Coker III (Danielle) of Valrico, FL; one grand-daughter, Charlotte Coker of Valrico, FL; a grandson on the way; one brother, Keith "Skippy" Branham (Pam) of Georgetown; three nephews, Chase Downing (Kate) of Huntersville, NC, Matt Branham (Maria) of Georgetown and Kelby Branham (Casey) of Georgetown; numerous aunts, uncles, and other special family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 22, 2021, at New Life Church, with Rev. Wyllene Skipper and Rev. Tony Bratcher officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Music Forward Foundation, 7060 Hollywood Blvd., 2nd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90028
