He was the son of Louis and Lorraine (Savola) Anderson. Louie was raised in Hancock and moved to Escanaba at the age of 15. He attended Escanaba High School.
Louie worked as a delivery driver for Schwan's Company. He was a very loved handyman to many of his neighbors who were all very special to him. He enjoyed woodworking and writing music. He played both the drums and guitar and proudly made a CD titled, "That's All".
Music was Louie's passion in life. He was a proud member of the Hancock Senior Marching Band, drafted as a junior high student. Watching him harmonize with his brothers was truly beautiful to witness. He was a phenomenal drummer and over the course of many years he played in local bands such as Shattered Glass, Loose Caboose, and most recently Bad Dog.
Louie was survived by: his father, Louis J. Anderson Sr.; fiancee Peg Lippens; daughters, Samantha Gartland, Amanda (Justin) Nault, and Alexis Anderson; grandchildren, Rylan, Koda, Oakley, Braelyn, and Justin Jr.; fiancée's children, Karla, Kory, and Kaelyn; fiancée's grandchildren, Kylie, Kaidan, Liveah, Kholton, Jaeger, and Kinsley; brothers, James (Judy) Anderson, Jeffrey (Patty) Anderson, and Daniel (Becky) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Louie was preceded in death by his mother.
A public visitation at the Crawford Funeral Home. Funeral services at the Calvary Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Steve Gauger. Burial in the Rapid River Cemetery.
